Every commission begins with listening — to the way you live, the rooms you move through, the things you return to. From there we shape a single object in the right material, at the right scale, for the right moment. What we draw is then placed in the hands of local master artisans, who give it substance the way only a lifetime at the bench can: slowly, exactly, without shortcuts. Slow by intention, exact by discipline, and made to outlast trends.
Only one
Each piece is conceived, made, and numbered as a unique work. No repeats, no editions. When it leaves the studio, the mould is closed.
Meaning before form
We start from what an object needs to mean before deciding how it should look. The result is quiet, deliberate, and personal to its owner.

ultrasemplice was shaped by a study that began where the practice itself began. Our founder, Alice Mandelli, trained in Hong Kong in the classical discipline of Feng Shui — the ancient Chinese art that reads the relationship between a person and the space they inhabit — under the teaching of Grandmaster Raymond Lo.
What we practice is not decoration, and not mysticism. It is a way of listening to a space. We hold to the traditional discipline, and translate it into a contemporary language — one that speaks as naturally to a European home as to the tradition it comes from.
